On the way to interviews

After these interviews which were late because of the fender bender, we drove more south to Port Charlotte for their interviews on Friday.

Elder Meserve

Missionaries from the South St. Pete Zone waited patiently for us. After these got on their bikes to ride home---Yes Sister Summerhays we are wearing our helmets. THese Missionaries are Elder Boehme, center Elder Toale and Elder Meserve. Don't they look great in their helmets?

We were right on schedule. Interview the St. Pete North Zone finish at one. Drive to Gulf Port to the St. Pete South Zone- lunch on the way. We were going to make it with flying colors. While stopped at a stop light, the car in front of us put his car into reverse when he thought he was in forward and floored it backing up right into us. We are all right, the car is hammered and we were late to interviews.

Elder Palmer's Gift

Picture taken at Christmas Zone Conference. Here we have on the front row: Elders Cundick, Palmer and Boardman. On the back row we have Elder Tagg and Elder Christensen. THe tie that Elder Tagg is wearing was made from pipe cleaners by Elder Palmer as a thank you for training him so well. Below is my gift from Elder Palmer

In our Christmas Zone conference I shared my love for my Nativities and that I missed that part of Christmas. Two days later, I received a package from Elder Palmer. He had made me a Nativity from pipe cleaners. Making things from Pipe Cleaners is one of his gifts.

Goat cheese

This is Elder Moffett playing the piano for Grandpa as they practice their song for the Christmas Zone Conference. Grandpa is singing, "When Joseph Went to Bethlehem" He came to the line where it says Joseph packed goat cheese. Grandpa said, "Did I just sing about goat cheese?" So we all started laughing and we are not sure if he and Elder Moffett can get thru the number without laughing when they come to the goat cheese part.
