Copied from the Motts blog

Elder Cowley is going home in May. About 5 weeks ago he became very vocal about his 3 months to sexy diet. He was refusing all treats, eating nothing but salad and working out every morning without fail. The last time he bragged about it he had lost 9 lbs (he has gained 40 on his mission). Last night during dinner Sister Mott looked over and saw Elder Cowley with a bowl of ice cream sitting on his chest and a mouth full of cookies. She turned to Elder Mott and whispered, "Does this mean Elder Cowley is off his diet?" Well, it took seconds for Elder Mott to make everyone aware and then the laughter began. He defended himself by explaining that he's decided to "settle for less" and shoot for husky instead of sexy!
(We just love these kids!)

And finally, Monday was President Summerhay's birthday. The APs were so excited that they bought him a cake from Dairy Queen and it had BYU on it. They ate it Monday night, but when we got to the Mission Home on Tuesday night they had saved a piece just for Elder Mott to eat.
This is again Transfer Week. Wow! The past six weeks just flew by! Last night we were at the Mission Home for a dinner and testimony meeting for our departing missionaries (which also meant the Chambers!)

Elder Madsen

I am going to try to repost the video of Elder Madsen singing a scripture. He knows over 300 of them. He was home schooled and they made them up. At home his brother plays the piano for them. Hopefully this works

Bruce Jr. was in Florida today!!. He drove from the Atlantic and we drove from the Gulf side and met in Lake Placid. Bet you thought that was in New York- didn't you!!. Thanks Jr.!! It meant a lot to us to get a real hug!
Lake Placid is known as the City of Murals. These are some of the murals we saw while visiting.
