We have totally depended on the Mott's since we arrived. She was our secretary and did everything and more for President to make his job easier. They will be forever friends. The Tampa zone missionaries dropped by after their ZDM and we marched them out the door. You will recognize Grandpa's superb note at the end.

One of our favorite birds has become the Pelican. It flies so gracefully skimming the water, but when it lands or goes for food... look out! It looks so clumsy! We love to watch. It reminds us of the one on the Little Mermaid.
This is Elder Draper On Saturday we took some of the Senior couples down and across the Sky Harbor bridge and stopped in at the rest stop for a while. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We eventually ended up at John's Pass where we could watch the drawbridge, see Pelicans up close and personal, and have lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co in Madeira Beach.
The Sky Bridge is absolutely spectacular! It is TAmpa's Golden Gate
Feeding pelicansWe got back to the office just in time to start a mission wide fast. We were dedicating the fast to Mission Unity. The really awesome thing is that tonight at 5:00pm the entire mission got on a conference call and had a prayer to break the fast. Sister Mott set it up through the church's system and there were 80 phones- close to 160 people on that call. It was amazing and very spiritual. Although, these young missionaries are still kids, that's for sure. Immediately following the prayer President Summerhays thanked everyone and said his goodbye and then cheers of Go UTES and renditions of the Cougar Fight Song broke out over the phone line.
