May Arrivals and Departures and more

Bradenton Spanish and English Districts at last District meeting of the transfer

Sister Maiwiriwiri sporting her new cast. She went a month walking and running and working before I convinced her she had to go to a Dr. She didn't want to stop working as her mission time is so precious. She actually broke it.

On Monday we welcomed 7 new missionaries. Here we have President, Sister Turley, Elders Fedderson, Stanger, Jarquin, Leavitt, Rodriguez and Watkins. We love them so much and we are committed to helping them have the best mission ever.

Our successful returning missionaries : Elder Marshall, Sister Salinas, Elders Bartschi and Sharp and Elder Vincent. We are excited for them to begin their new lives, but oh how are hearts ache as we will miss them. Some of them we will never see again. They have set the pattern here for a wonderful life

Saying Goodbye to our Ghost Pepper Elder Sharp. He has the best laugh ever!

Daddy and Elder Bartschi.. Elder Bartschi served as our Assistant and he is amazing.

More Zone Conference

Elder Boehme who is a champion roper uses one way
to find a new investigator.
Elder Johnson who loves to fish uses another way to find a new investigator. He caught Elder Craner with his slimy fishing net.  After all, we are fishers of men.

Elders Johnson (red head), Nielson, Woolsey, Larson, Scribner, Craner, Nemelka and Vasher(hidden) working together to use 7 different ways of finding

Elders Vasher, Nemelka, Craner Larson  continued working together with their seven different ways of finding are creating a great net as they are "fishers of men"
Success!
They caught Elder Willard in their net and he will accept the message and stay!

More Zone Conference Fun

Elders Cornia and Junk being the innocent role players. Elder Hansen spoon fed the cake (gospel) to Elder Cornia and then Elder Jones shoved it into Elder Junk's face. The point was we need to teach the lessons in the proper way and order. The funniest part is that Elder Junk said, "I didn't even get to taste any of it" As they missed his mouth!

Haitianaries

President  and me (Will someone verify that 2 years ago I was fit and Grandpa was not grey?)

Front row: Elders Brown and Olschewski
These are our 8 Haitianaries. Don't they look awesome? Each and every one of them is hard working and obedient.

Some Zone Conference Fun

Elder Parker in his beloved Jazz blanket and Elder Fangupo with his sleep mask role playing a perfect morning. The first part of a perfect morning is to 'arise' not just 'wake up' at 6:30 AM. Elder Holland teaches that a missionary makes or breaks their mission in the hours between 6:30 and 10 AM which we affectionately call our perfect mornings.
Another part of a perfect morning is personal study which begins at 8 AM is personal study. WE ask the missionaries to be dressed and ready for the day when they meet the Lord and be come His investigator. Elder Parker and Elder Fangupo demonstrate what you are supposed to not do. They do this after their exercise and breakfast
Our Hawaiian Elders! Of course they have a special place in our hearts because of our family that lives in Hawaii. These two sang "Nearer to God" for us in the conference. They did one verse in Hawaiian. I don't think there was a dry eye. They come with so much fire and I guess my kids would say with so much "Aloha". They are motivating us all. Elder Nitta's father teaches music and the two of them sang much in Hawaii. I think we will hear from them every chance we get.
LIFT WHERE YOU STAND We discussed the principle that just as they are called to serve in the Florida Tampa Mission, they are also called by revelation to serve in their areas. The discussed the talk by President Uchtdorf called Lift Where You Stand, and together they could left the table using two fingers each. They lifted it over President's head.

Last Days of Interviews

Elders Prigmore, Benson, Waite and Anderson happy after they passed their interviews.
Elders Palmer and Waite. Elder Palmer made us special planner covers. He always does thoughtful things for us-and for others he serves with as well.
Elders Valle and Hargan waiting their turns for interviews.
Elder Meserve happily leading the musical number--Isn't he great?
Happy Elder Maguire and Hales. When Elder Hales left his home for the mission, his father put 24 pink flamingos on their lawn. Every month he takes one down and puts it away. He will do that until there are no more flamingos and they have their son back. They may have to fight us for him though--he is much to valuable to let go. They now have 14 flamingos left. He promised me a picture so if I get it I will post.
Elders Maguire and Hales being serious but Elder Maguire couldn't hold the look
